The Operations Division is the largest single division within the Winter Park Police Department encompassing both the Uniform Patrol Division and the Special Operations Division. Members assigned to the Operations Division provide the initial response to calls for service, crimes in progress, preliminary criminal investigations, special event planning and are the officers primarily responsible for the enforcement of uniform traffic laws. As the Departments uniformed “first responders”, members of the Operations Division are the representatives of the Winter Park Police Department that our residents are most likely to interact with on a daily basis.
